How can we tell a story of what we do with our data visualizations?

Ah, the dashboard project. One of my favorite projects to date with Hook & Loop, a one of a kind assignment that comes along that gets you sweaty in the palms with a mind full of ideas.

The concept: A real-time dashboard based in Infor’s HQ's office in NYC that would be displayed on the bottom third of a 2-story tall video wall. Content would be pulled from sensors in the office, various API's and information databases.

Hook & Loop is a think-tank and creative agency for larger software enterprise company, Infor.

We wanted it to be meaningful, beautiful and alive. Live weather, traffic reports, current meetings and their locations, latest tweets, and even recommended drink & food joints around the area.

Below are the three iterations I designed, exploring and pushing the aesthetic and just like Goldilocks finding a happy medium between something new yet familiar. I worked closely with our team of animators to bring this design to life.
